According to gaming insider Pete Doss, Microsoft is currently working on the making changes to the XBox One GPU restrictions. It’s reported that the XBox One GPU uses 10% total for the Kinect, 8% for video and 2% for voice processing. Microsoft is planning to make changes that would free up the 8% video entirely, leaving just 2% for the system’s GPU which will be dedicated to the voice imput.

With the launch of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, on the XBox One and PS4, Microsoft took a lot of criticism when reports from multiple gaming sites reported that the PS4 version seem to have the upper-hand graphically. Microsoft is hoping that this update will allow developers to have the freedom to take advantage for the extra power in the GPU.
