DICE announced their new program called “Player Appreciation” starting February 1st, for Battlefield 4 customers. The month long program will give players the Bronze Battlepack filled with weapons, upgrades and a few other items for each day players are logged into the game. On the weekend players will also receive the Silver Battlepack, in addition to that DICE will host community events that will allow players unlock Gold Battlepacks. The first community mission players will be given the task to collect dog tags, in a certain time frame.
For players who recently purchased Battlefield 4, and have been plagued with the issues that the game has had from release, will be awarded with a free unlock bundle. This bundle will give new players every unlocked grenade and handgun in the game. Premium subscribers will also get that unlock and all DMR’s and shotguns and double XP weekend rounds out the festivities. DICE will host multiple developer interviews in February where Battlefield 4 players can ask the developers questions.
DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson, released the following statements, “We appreciate all of the great feedback you continue to provide about all aspects of Battlefield 4, we take this very seriously, and hearing directly from you has helped to make the experience better.”We are further improving a number of items commonly referred to as ‘netcode. This will tighten the overall multiplayer experience, and we will be able to share these items with you in detail soon.”
